Let me introduce myself. My name is Lucia but I go by Lu. I have been a professional groom since I was 16 and have been around horses since I was 6. In my career I have been employed on a 40 horse livery yard, Grand Prix level dressage yard, Eventing yard and more recently on an International showjumping yard. I have experience handling young stock and stallions as well as nervous and problematic horses. I was awarded a Distinction in my Level 3 Advanced Technical Extended Diploma in Equine Management. I have also completed BHS and Pony Club exams, as well as the Introduction to Racing course at Newmarket.

I have always dreamt of having my own business. When the opportunity arose to acquire a block of stables at my current livery yard, where my personal horse, Tigga, is kept, I could not pass it up. This was the start of Lowton Livery & Sales. We offer Full and Part Livery as well as additional services to meet your needs. We are a small team with lots of enthusiasm and experience. I will be working alongside my Partner Ian, who has also been around horses since a young child, as well as taking care of the day-to-day running of a large livery yard in Essex. We are very passionate about meeting both the needs and wants of our clients. Putting our clients' minds at ease and providing the best care possible for their horses will be our topmost priority. We are very excited and driven by this new opportunity and cannot wait to see what the future brings.
